Goal: Learn how to locate exact or similar supplier products for eBay listings using ZIK’s Item Finder.

Inside the Competitor Research Tool, you’ll find the Item Finder icon — a small box with the Amazon logo and a green check mark.

The Item Finder automatically compares eBay listings with supplier marketplaces like Amazon (and others).

‍

✅ Tip: Use this tool to instantly verify supplier sources, prices, and profit margins for your competitors’ listings.

How to Read the Icons

‍

Goal: Understand what each symbol means and how to act on it.

‍

• 🟩 Green check mark: ZIK found the exact same product on the supplier marketplace.
  ‍
• 🟧 Empty box (no check): ZIK found similar items, not an exact match — these often yield higher margins and lower competition.
  ‍
• 🟥 Red box: No matches were found; you can locate it manually.
  ‍

✅ Insight: Similar items can be a goldmine — they allow you to bring new but relevant products to eBay while maintaining competitive prices and keywords.

Find and Save Profitable Items
‍

Goal: Identify high-performing listings to replicate or improve.
‍

1. Scroll through the list of competitor products.
   ‍
2. Look for items with high sales and low competition.
   ‍
3. Click the Item Finder icon to open the matched or similar product on Amazon.
   ‍
4. If it’s profitable, click Save to Folder and organize it under your supplier folder (e.g., Amazon Items).
   ‍

✅ Pro Tip: Always compare supplier cost and shipping time to ensure consistent profit margins.
‍

Manually Locate Unmatched Products
‍

Goal: Learn how to find and link unmatched items manually.
‍

If ZIK doesn’t find a match (red box):
‍

1. Click to view the eBay item title.
   ‍
2. Copy the key descriptive words (e.g., 29-inch universal spray wand).
   ‍
3. Search for them manually on Amazon.
   ‍
4. Once found, copy the ASIN (you’ll find it in the product URL or “Product Details” section).
   ‍
5. Go back to ZIK, paste the ASIN, and reload the item finder.
   ‍

ZIK will automatically fill in:
‍

• Supplier price
  ‍
• Profit margin
  ‍
• Product details
  ‍

✅ Tip: Once linked, save it to your product folder just like the automatically found items.

Manage and Export Your Product Folders

‍

Goal: Keep all your sourced items organized and ready for listing.

‍

In My Products, open your saved folder (e.g., Amazon / Walmart).

‍
You’ll see:
‍

• eBay image and supplier image
  ‍
• ASIN or supplier ID
  ‍
• eBay and supplier titles
  ‍
• Supplier price, eBay price, profit, sales, competitors
  ‍

From here, you can:
‍

• ✏️ Edit titles directly
  ‍
• 🛒 Send to lister (choose store, marketplace, and title source)
  ‍
• 📤 Export as CSV for manual upload
  ‍

✅ Pro Tip: Use filters to exclude Vero brands or restricted keywords before listing.
