Product Research - Title Analytics tutorial

📚 What This Tutorial Covers

Title Analytics Tutorial

Goal: Learn how to use ZIK's Title Analytics Tool to create optimized, high-converting product titles based on real eBay data.

This tutorial shows how to analyze top-performing titles, identify profitable keywords, and build your own SEO-friendly product titles that rank higher and sell faster.

✅ Insight: Winning titles are data-driven — not random. Using proven keywords helps your listings appear in more searches and attract more buyers.

1. Access the Title Analytics

Goal: View real data from the top-performing product titles on eBay.

After you search for a product (for example, dog gate) in the Product Research Tool, click on the Title Analytics tab at the top of the results.

You’ll now see a list of the Top 10 Selling Titles — these are titles used by the highest-selling listings for that keyword.

Each title includes:

  • The full text you can copy directly
  • The character count for easy optimization
✅ Tip: eBay’s title limit is 80 characters — use as many as possible without stuffing unnecessary words.

2. Analyze Keywords

Goal: Discover the most profitable long-tail and generic keywords.

Scroll down to see two sections:

• Long-Tail Keywords:

These represent the exact phrases buyers type when searching — e.g., “gate mesh fence,” “dog baby safety gate.”

  • Shows how many sellers use each phrase
  • Displays total sales generated by listings using it
  • Includes a score (sales per competitor) — the higher, the better

• Generic Keywords:

These are single high-volume words — e.g., “dog,” “safety,” “fence.”

They help you understand which general terms bring the most sales.

✅ Pro Tip: Combine both — use generic keywords for visibility and long-tail phrases for buyer intent.

3. Build Your Optimized Title

Goal: Create a powerful title structure that improves ranking and clicks.

Click on any keyword you want to include — it will automatically appear in your title builder box.

You can manually edit or remove words as you go.

Once satisfied with your title, click Copy to Clipboard and paste it into your eBay listing.

✅ Tip: Start with your most descriptive, high-search terms — these appear first on mobile devices and improve click-through rate.
