eBay Sold History Button – Terms of Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the eBay Sold History Button Chrome extension (the “Extension”) and any related services we provide (the “Service”), including features that let you save and sync items such as product and competitor watchlists.

By installing, accessing, or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

1) Provider and contact

2) What the Extension does

The Extension adds functionality on supported eBay pages (for example a “HISTORY” button and/or shortcut) to help you access sold/history-related views and may also provide links to ZIK Analytics features.

Some features may require you to create or use an account (see Section 4) and may sync data to our servers (see Section 6).

We may modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Extension or Service at any time.

3) Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use browser extensions and the Service where you live. If you use the Extension on behalf of a company, you represent you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

4) Accounts (if enabled)

To use certain features, you may need to provide an email address and/or authenticate to your account.

You agree to:

• provide accurate account information;
• keep your account access secure; and
• notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate accounts to protect users, the Service, or if these Terms are violated.

5) Your content (watchlists and saved items)

The Service may allow you to save and sync information such as:

• product watchlists,
• competitor watchlists,
• related notes/metadata associated with those lists.

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and transmit it only to provide and maintain the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content and use of the Service complies with applicable law and any third-party terms that apply to you (including eBay’s terms).

6) Privacy and data practices

6.1 Data we process

To provide account-based and syncing functionality, we may collect and process:

• Email address (account identifier / login / support),
• Saved items and watchlists (e.g., products/competitors you choose to save),
• Service/technical data necessary to operate securely and reliably (for example logs such as timestamps, device/browser info, IP address, error logs).

6.2 Why we process it

We process this data to:

• provide the Service features you request (account access, syncing, saved watchlists),
• maintain security and prevent abuse,
• provide customer support,
• improve reliability and performance.

6.3 Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• service providers (hosting, infrastructure, analytics strictly for service operation if used),
• authorities where required by law,
• successors in a merger/acquisition/restructure (with appropriate safeguards).

6.4 Retention and deletion

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and as required by law. We may provide ways to delete watchlists and/or request account deletion through support.

7) Third-party services (eBay, Chrome, external sites)

The Extension interacts with third-party websites and services (including eBay pages). Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

The Extension is not endorsed by or affiliated with eBay or Google unless explicitly stated.

8) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited by law,
• misuse the Service (probing, scraping beyond intended use, interfering with functionality, bypassing restrictions),
• use the Extension in a way that violates laws or third-party terms.

9) Updates

We may automatically update the Extension. Some updates may change features, behavior, or requirements (including account requirements). Continued use after updates means you accept the updated Extension.

10) Intellectual property

The Extension, Service, and all related materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable IP laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

11) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• you violate these Terms,
• your use creates risk or legal exposure,
• we discontinue the Extension or Service.

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it and discontinuing use of the Service.

12) Disclaimers

THE EXTENSION AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee availability or accuracy of third-party pages/data (including eBay), or that the Extension will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the Extension/Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and expenses arising from your misuse of the Extension/Service or violation of these Terms or third-party rights/terms.

15) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict of law rules.

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
